Sound Design for our podcast is the strategy to choreograph the voice, music, and rhythm in each episode to help create smoother storytelling.

Our podcasts are structured in 3 main parts which are Intro, Story (the main content), and Outro. They each come with specific purposes.

For example; Intro is there to immediately grab the listeners’ attention and make them interested in continuing to listen to the story in a few seconds. It is not just background music but the change of pace, song, and rhythm that vary in each template to serve the different groups of target audiences. The story is where the content is king, and music should not be the main star but rather be the great base and supporter to make the voice sound better and smoother to listen to. The outro is where you have a chance to give a quick conclusion, remind the audience to check out your social media and other episodes. It is a nice ending you need to connect to the audience.

So to completely design the full episode to make it a podcast that keeps listeners’ attention, we need the strategies to respond to their different purposes in different templates. That is our sound design and it is not just merely background music. So with BuildBubbles, you can podcast with confidence and in a style you like.
